Delayed Halloween Update…
The above picture shows the cutest Yoda ever. We had a blast this year for Halloween. Last year, Sam was just a month old so he just laid around. This year, he was able to explore and participate. The first thing we did was head to our church’s fall festival.
They had a lot of activities for kids but, obviously, Sam was too young for them. He did enjoy the wooden car cutout though.
The only activity he really could participate in was the pick up the duck game. Sam walked right up to it and picked up a duck as if he knew what he was supposed to do. It was cute!
After the fall festival, we went to Travis’ boss’ house for a Halloween party. We had a blast. Some of Sam’s friends were there and they interacted (as much as 1 year olds do) while looking cute in their outfits. Here are Sam and Ari with Ari’s dad.
Ari was the cutest Viking I have ever seen. His mom made his entire outfit and it looked phenomenal. Travis took this picture and thought it was a great one (and I concur.)
Here is Sam’s other buddy, Batman, I mean, Baxter.
They played on the back porch for the majority of the time. Sam practiced his walking.
Then Ari and Sam played on the lawnmower that was used for a backyard hayride.
Sam went on a “hay ride” with Travis.
In conclusion, while in Mississippi, my mom and I took Sam to Wal-Mart to have some halloween pictures made. Here is the cute yoda again. I am looking forward to next year when we might can try a little trick-or-treating.

Sweet Costume! Whose idea, yours or Travis’? Did you buy the head or make it?

Hey,
It was both of our ideas. We saw the costume and knew that is what Sam would be since we are both Star Wars fans. We bought the whole outfit- hat and cloak.
