WOW! It has been a LONG time since I have blogged. Sorry about that. May was a HUGE BUSY MESS of a month. We traveled most of it, or at least that is what it felt like. Anyway, here are a few pictures from the first part of May.
After Sam’s initial evaluation for speech therapy eligibility the examiner told us that Sam was starting to get bored with the puzzles where the pieces kind of sit in a hole. She recommended getting/making puzzles that consisted of two pieces. We searched for some and finally found a box of beginner puzzles at Target that have 2 two piece puzzles, 2 four piece puzzles, and 2 6 piece puzzles. We were excited to find these. Yesterday, I was rotating Sam’s toys and discovered that he already had a set of 2 piece puzzles and so I pulled those out as well. These seem to be a bit tougher for him to put together because they are wooden but he does like to just line them up the way they are supposed to go. Anyway, here is a picture of Travis and Sam putting together a puzzle one night.

Sam wore a little sailor outfit that I got him for Mother’s Day. Sadly, I never got a picture of the two of us together on Mother’s Day but I did get this funny picture of him in our church parking lot. He was eating his fruity Cheerio’s on the way to church and apparently lost one. We found it when we got him out of his car seat. I love this picture- I think it is hilarious!!

Travis’ 33rd birthday was May 7th. Some of the girls that work on the same hall as him blew up a bunch of ballooons and filled his office with them. The backlighting of the window screwed my picture up, but you can still get an idea of how many balloons there were.

One of them had a birthday the next Monday. So, in Travis’ attempt to get rid of the balloons, he made a balloon man and put it in Sandy’s office.

Here is a video of Sam playing in the balloons.
