We have really tried to not be too busy this week. I think we all needed a chance to recover from all of the traveling of the past week. Therefore, this will be a short post.

Tuesday night, was Kid’s Eat Free Night at Moe’s. They were doing a special promotion with the Durham Bulls as well so Wool E Bull, the mascot was at Moe’s. Since Sam is still obsessed with mascots we knew we had to go.

Wool E Bull gave Sam one of his baseball cards. Sam was checking it out while finishing his “kiki” (cookie.)

I like Wool E Bull’s ride…

When we got home, I scanned his baseball card so that I could save it and not worry if Sam destroyed it. So far he has taken very good care of it so hopefully that won’t change. I also wanted to be able to document it on the blog.

Wednesday morning, we went to Jumpin’ Beans for a play date. Sam enjoyed it and even learned how to climb the ladder all by himself- a first!!

His buddy, Ari, joined him and so they were able to play some too. All week Sam has been asking to see Ari and he even talked about him while we were in TN so I know he was glad to play with him yesterday.

Today for lunch, Sam and I were on our own. I decided that we still needed to get out of the house so we went to Chick-Fil-A. Sam had a blast running off some energy in their playground after we ate. He played with a little boy, Trey, who is exactly 1 day older than Sam! The funny part is that Trey only came up to Sam’s chin. Trey’s grandpa and dad were shocked when they learned how old Sam was- they thought he was 3 or 4. HA HA!! I didn’t get a picture of Sam and Trey together but I did get one of Sam in the CFA car. He has never figured out that he has turn away from the slide to get into the car- until today. He was so proud of himself!

That’s been our week so far. It has been fairly relaxing and yet still a lot of fun.
