The day after we got back from Ellenboro, one of my bridesmaids arrived with her husband and daughter in tow. They were on their way to Richmond and used us as their last stop. Sam and Rebekah had never actually met each other because they live in Mississippi and typically spend Thanksgiving (when we go to MS) with James’ family in OK. However, you would never have known that they had never played together. They IMMEDIATELY started playing and just had a good time.

Rebekah was fascinated with our attic steps…

They “wrestled” together but that quickly ended when Rebekah grabbed him around the neck and scared the living daylight out of Sam. Oops!

Sam was even nice enough to share his room with Rebekah. She slept on his travel bed near the closet. However, I don’t have a picture of this.

The next morning, they ate breakfast together…

Sadly they had to go fairly early that morning. I am so thankful that we were able to visit for a bit though- they will be headed to Asia in October for several years with the IMB. I am proud of them for following God’s direction but sad that the remote possibility of meeting up during Thanksgivings are out for awhile. Oh well… there’s always skype (hint hint… James and Kristie) 🙂
