After lunch we toured the Elvis’ two airplanes- the Lisa Marie and the Hound Dog 2. On the way, we stopped for pictures with the Hard Rock Cafe guitar that drops on New Years Eve.

The next exhibit was one about how Elvis’ fashion has inspired “modern” fashion. Needless to say, there were a lot of clothes in this exhibit. 🙂

After we were done checking out the plethora of clothes we took a break for a good old fashion banana split. Again, Mum Jubie and Sam grabbed a table while Dad and I built our split.

We walked past the Graceland sign on the way to the last few exhibits. I REALLY like this picture.

Elvis got drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War. He thought it was a privilege to serve and did so willingly. Therefore, he had to take a break from performing. When he started back, they made a big deal out of it and called it the “’68 Special”. His come back tour. This exhibit didn’t have much in it other than a video and 6 plaques to read about what all happened in 1968.

Our final exhibit was “Elvis on Tour” and it was about a film crew and their footage they recorded while being allowed to travel with Elvis.
