Sam had his last wee ball game tonight. We enjoyed the season but are glad to see it come to an end. Tonight, Sam was more distracted than ever and even ran out behind the “dummy fence” out in the outfield. Thankfully, his daddy was able to convince he and another boy on the team to come back onto the correct side and play ball. 🙂

Sam’s first at bat was as the sun was setting- thus, the horrible picture.

After the game, they lined up for a team picture and to receive their trophies.

Sam was definitely more interested in his cupcake than having his picture taken with Coach John. HA!

Our cute ball player!

I don’t remember getting softball trophies for just playing. I am assuming I probably did during some of my younger years. However, I think it is neat that Sam got a trophy that is specifically for wee/tee ball. The player is hitting off a tee!! Cool!

Travis and I have talked and next year and through tee ball we will probably keep signing Sam up so he can gain some baseball experience. However, after that it will be up to him if he wants to play. We don’t want to force it on him but he needs experience to decide if he likes it. We also desire for him to experience a variety of sports (soccer, basketball, maybe football- yikes) to see where his interests lie. He might just decide to sing and play music and we will definitely support him in that. He obviously enjoys singing more than baseball at this point in his life. 🙂

In conclusion, here is the video collage I made from various things at tonight’s game…
