We went for a 3D ultrasound today. We did this with Sam and were amazed at how much he looked just like this u/s pictures so we definitely wanted to do this with Gabrielle. She kept her feet and hands in front of her face and so our ultrasound tech told me that we could come back again and try next week to get better shots. Therefore, we didn’t get a lot of pictures this week but I think we did get one really good one. The dark shadows are the placenta. She was WAY low which also aided in making it difficult to see her face. It also explains why I’ve been having AWFUL hip pain. Sam separated the ligaments that hold the pelvic bones together when he was born. She has been so low that she has caused them to separate again. Unfortunately, the only “treatment” is delivery of the baby which would not be feasible right now. Therefore, I am looking at some VERY painful next two months. That joint LOUDLY pops when I roll over in bed and Travis has to help me get out of the bed in the mornings. It is really pathetic. But, enough about my hip pain (technically, it is called “pubic symphasis diastasis”) an onto the picture of Gabrielle…

Look at the size of her foot (left side of pic on top of her forehead) and the length of her toes!!! We definitely make big footed babies.

For anyone wondering, she is still a “she.” I will go back again in about a week and hopefully we will get some clearer pictures.
